Susanne Schanz

Susanne Schanz Food blogger

For Cologne-based photographer Susanne Schanz the path to food photography proceeded via many colorful and exciting detours. From music, to journalism and set design, she came to her ultimate dream job -- food photographer. Today she works for renowned agencies, international brands as well as national and international magazines.

In her bright day-lit studio where she uses natural light whenever possible, the Vienna-born photographer combines all three areas of food photography in one person. She is a cook, stylist and photographer. Here motto is nothing unnatural – that means no glue and no hair spray. Everything she photographs is 100% natural and good enough to eat.
